On Tuesday 25 February 2025, the Plant Health Australia (PHA) Board of Directors convened in Launceston, Tasmania for Board Meeting 118 (BM118).

The Board thanked and acknowledged the PHA team for their work in managing the Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed (EPPRD), maintaining strong partnerships with Members and for the development of the Mid-Year Performance Report.

During BM118, the Board discussed several key strategic, financial, operation and people matters including:

  • management and compliance of the EPPRD
  • progress on the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning system
  • consolidated financial reporting
  • risk management
  • workplace health and safety

Additionally, in light of the 25th PHA Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday 26 November 2025, four Director’s terms will expire. In anticipation of the Board rotation, the Directors discussed and commenced the Board Selection process as outlined in the PHA Constitution.

Finally, the Board passed a resolution for the 25th PHA General Meeting to be held on Thursday 22 May 2025, for which the Company Secretary will provide notice to Members in due course.

The Board will meet again on Tuesday 20 May 2025 in Adelaide, South Australia.
